Hakim's Reflection
I've learnt a lot of new things from this geog fieldtrip .
My friends and i had a lot of fun doing some activities at the river such as measuring the speed of the river and others.
These activities gave me a better understanding of factors that affect a river . Besides that , we visited an orphanage.
We played games with the orphans and even entertained them . It was a truly memorable experience .
Because it shows me how orphans can be when visitors come to visit.
They are sad inside them, however they do not show that expression to us.
This visit had taught me a valuable lesson which can be applied in my life .
I must treasure the people around me when they are still alive.

Many things i took back from Malaysia to Singapore! Firstly, we went to the Orang Asli and learnt about what they do for their living.
They were not as privilege as us, we do not have to work for our own food but the people in Orang Asli need to do that in order to survive.
Secondly, we went to the river and waterfall in Kuantan and we had lots of fun in measuring the width, depth and the wetted perimeter of the river.
We got to experience how the river works! It really helps in my learning for river and coast.
Thirdly, we went to the forest and learnt what different trees produce different fruits.
It was a great experience to enter a man-made rainforest plantation!
After the forest walk, it was my favourite activity of the trip! We had lots of fun playing with the orphans, we also danced for the orphans.
It caught me to realise how strong and contented the orphans are with the smile they always had on their face.
I was wondering, if i were without parents, will i be like them?
Lastly, we went to try the Nyonya dishes in the restuarant and it was GOOD!
In conclusion, I had lots of experiences and reflections to think about.
It was a good learning trip!

This trip enables me to learn visually and i can memorise things easier.
Its a valuable experience. I love the exquisitive hotel and it serves a good resting place for me to relax after a long tiring day.
Things i have learnt are About coast, level of development and how they have live through their life.
I takes them as a role model as they endure hardships throughout their lives and dont even utter a single word.
Beautiful sceneries that cannot be found in Singapore are to be seen and appreciated.
We also had some hands-on work like measuring the speed, width and depth of the river.
However, the food there was disappointing. Their service is not as good as i expected.
I shall not elaborate about that. Also, we can learnt how cliffs, headland and bays are form.
Its an un forgettable experience. Lastly, a visit to the orphanage leaves good memories.
We are suppose to organise some activities to entertain them. I love the kids.
I have admirable respect for them and think they should deserve better.
Overall, from this trip, it helps me in memorizing better with the help of using vision,
and we can compare the level of development between malaysia and singapore.
Alvin's Reflection
From this trip i've learnt alot og things that the geography textbook would not be able teach me. For example:
Orang Asli, waterfall and the tropical forest.
As for Orang Asli, Singaporeans is more developed than the Orang Asli.
During the waterfall event, we had lots of fun, which is the most exciting part of the trip.
We measured width, speed, depth and volume of the river.
Lastly, for the forest, we must save the earth, gobal warming is taking place every second, and the ozone layer is depleting.
One second of our lives, is own to the trees. Last but not least, at the orphanage, we must have empathy.
HongJin's Reflection
I learn lots of things that are not taught in class.
Although we have no much time for shopping till the final day of the trip but we still enjoyed ourself.
I've went to malaysia lots of times but this is the most meaningful and fruitful trip.
The most memorable thing which i won't forget is when we are at the orphanage!
The kids there are very cute.
We seriously enjoyed ourself, although we make a fool out of ourself there like by playing games like:
Tu Tu Train, Musical Chairs, Lao Ying Zhua Xiao Ji, London Bridge.
Cool right? Although people might say "What a childish game!"
But to me childish so what brings the children happiness.
As long as the orphan are happy i will happy!
Some of the orphans interected with us. I even got to know some of their names like, Piyo and PeiYi!
Piyo is a cute boy, whom i played with all the way.
Then he asked me to carry him!
Mark's Reflection
Being able to go forr this Malaysia field trip had made me learn many valuable lessons in life.
For example, to treasure what we have, to empathize how people around us feel and more importantly perseverance.
We went to the Orang Asli settlement which allowed us to see the big gap of a developing area and a developed area.
Singapore is a developed country but Malaysia is still developing. Seeing the Orang Asli it shows the urban side of Malaysia.
We also went for the fieldwork at the waterfall. This experience was something very meaningful. before i went there, i didn't have any idea about what is wetted primeter,
but now i have a clear understanding of what it is. And also we were able to see what an actual headland and bay looks like and how it eroded.
Being able to see all of this would give students an upper hand in studying due to the fact we have seen it and would be able to remember it.
The most exciting part of this entire trip was the visit to the orphanage. We had to come out with our own performance and i was able to learn the dance within one day.
I was very happy as i am not very good in dancing and i was able to catch up with them.
I have learnt that it is better to give then to take during the visit to the orphanage.
Our bus donated a sum of RM$600+ and the other bus collected RM$100+. The sum do not matter but it is the thought that counts.
The smiles on the orphans faces immediately brighten up my day and i felt a sense of satisfaction as we were able to allow them to have fun.
This trip was a exciting and fruitful one. If i have the chance, I won't mind going for this trip again.
